John has knocked an item off his 'bucket list'. We are sitting in the BA VIP lounge having a glass of wine and watching planes take off. Really posh ~ especially as we are using Avion Airmiles for the flight.
Even though it is only 7:30 local time, I am tired now and the glass of wine is likely to wipe me out for the night; at least that is my hope.
Thanks to Kathy and Fred for a great visit with wonderful company and great food. My sister makes a mean lasagna and her husband, Fred, does great ribs. Had both on this trip.

Anyway, I though I would drop a quick note to thank Maggie for sending us a wonderful “Indian” lunch via Claire. We had it several days ago and even though Claire & I argued about who was going to hurry back to their desk to tell you all about it, we both went straight to work. Imagine. Here’s me (& Iza) working hard and looking forward to your next update.

ReplyDeleteClaire has not gotten around to setting up an account so I am being a helper. Claire asked me to let you know that Spook came visiting and no food could be found ... Claire looked everywhere, oh ya, "everywhere" and she found that "you know what" (when she told us you guys have one of those, naturally we thought "she" was lying … of course "I" wouldn’t lie) anyway, Spook was not pleased about the no food situation. Claire knows this because of the look on her face and because she would not purr. Can you include the location or brand of the food in you next update? Thanks!
Please forward apology to Spook but we forgot the food outside the night before we left and some critter cleared out the bag. She is not fussy anything will do for treats. Running out of of power. Bye for now.
