Well the deed is done. I bit the bullet and booked the two air trips from Venice to Rome and Rome to Athens. Decided to book with the flight company itself for peace of mind.
Only trouble is a 45 euro flight turns into nearly 90 by the time the service charge, baggage and Visa fee gets added.
Got my euros this afternoon and think I have it all done, except the packing.
Maggie is infinitely better at the packing game than me and I think deep down she enjoys it, so wouldn't want to spoil her fun.
