So we start. Flight is booked, clothes are being whittled down to bare necessities and we are losing sleep worrying that all the details are under control. While I am certain that I can do it, I am not looking forward to sleeping at the railroad station in Barcelona which, apparently, is the pickpocket capital of Europe. Dubious distinction.
Will the house be safe?
Did I put a hold on the mail? (Actually, I know I did but am still worried about it.)
Will I really make it for 4 months in Europe with only one pair of shoes? (Maybe they actually sell shoes in Europe so this may be a frivolous concern and John is certainly not concerned about his shoes)
Hello Maggie, mostly I am just checking to see how posting a "comment" works but also, I thought you might be interested to know ... our neighbors put their mail on hold for 6 wks but Canada Post missed the start date. For the first week, in addition to flyers, Mike & I were also collecting mail. Perhaps start the hold a few days before you go - then you can know for sure and not worry. ~ Linnie
